Roasters notes: A lovely washed Ethiopia with the sweetness of the most sought after Kenyan’s, thanks to the double soaked / washed process commonly used in Kenya.
I’ve gotten varying flavors depending on brew method – flat bottom brewers bring out candied lemon and limoncello with a notable tea like fragrance and taste, while conical brewers like a V60 bring out incredible peachy and tangerine like flavors. A testament to this coffee’s complexity.
Neja Fadil previously worked as a coffee collector on commission for other washing stations before creating his own station in 2017. Since then he has organized 250 contributing farmers, many of them recently farming coffee. Neja’s washing station provides agronomy training to contributing farmers to further enhance quality control.
