Of the hundreds of coffees I try every year to curate just a select few for the main High Bank lineup, I've found myself taking note of certain coffees that are special, but just not in line with the style I tend to feature. Coffees that shine with more development, destined for syrupy espresso and comfort brews on cold mornings.
I've decided to take these coffees and make them available to you under a new category - Field Notes.
The first edition comes from Guatemala in the Palencia region, from Ave del Paraiso. A washed field blend of the various cultivars and varieties grown there. This coffee is more developed than any coffee I've previously had available. While still not "dark" by any means, the influence of roast is apparent and complimentary to this style of coffee.
A perfect option for espresso and immersion brewing, chocolate flavors combine to create its fudge like character.
available as both a 12oz bag and a 2kg bulk bag.
